HIL simulation of a self-stabilizing monorail vehicle

From the MONOCAB team, Martin Griese successfully presented and published a scientific paper at the IEEE IECON 2022 conference. The paper titled "HIL simulation of a self-stabilizing monorail vehicle" describes an excerpt from the MONOCAB's model-based development process. It includes the validation of the self-developed ECU software with so-called hardware-in-the-loop tests. Here, the real ECUs of the vehicle are connected to a simulation computer, whereby the simulation computer simulates the behavior of the real vehicle. In this safe environment, all developed functions can be extensively tested before commissioning on the real vehicle.
